Dr. Asma Abu Ghalyoun r won the grand prize from the Arab Bank valued at U.S. $ 10,000 through the special offer on car loans. Dr. Asma received the news when she received a surprise telephone call from Mr. Jamal Al Hourani, Head of Consumer Banking in Palestine

Dr. Abu Ghalyoun - which graduated from the University of Applied Sciences in Jordan and works in the Al Na’eem Pharmacy, did not believe the call and initially said "I thought it was a practical joke,” and did not tell any of her friends or family, but with the passage of time and after speaking with the staff of the Arab Bank /Hebron Branch, she confirmed the validity of the news and began to tell her parents, barely able to contain her joy.

A special visit was paid to her place of work, and she was presented the award by Mr. Loai Hoash, South branches area manager, and Mr. Jamal Jubran, Hebron branch manager. They carried a check and as they presented it to Dr. Abu Ghalyoun, they congratulated her and wished her the best of luck.

Dr. Abu Ghalyoun was in the market for a new car coincidentally at the same time Arab Bank launched the special offers on car loans, which encouraged taking advantage of the offer and its many features and facilities that include a convenient installment program and the free insurance and licensing for the first year.

Dr. Asma commented, "This prize came at the perfect time. I had started my pharmacy expansion project and I needed some liquidity, thankfully, Arab Bank presented me this gift to go forward as planned. I would like to thank the Bank’s branch management and employees because of their friendly and timely service as well as honesty and transparency. I am more comfortable dealing with them than any other bank.” She concluded, “The processing of my loan was completed in just a few days, I would like to thank the employees again and wish them further progress and success. “

For his part, Mr. Hoash said that this prize was the second draw for the offer on car loans. The first draw was during the month of September 2009 which Wafa Mahani from the town of Bir Zeit. The campaign was intended to end on August, 31 2009, but was extended until December 31, 2009 because of the great demand witnessed for the loan in addition to the other offers on personal and home loans.
